Summary:The total equivalent of exports, generated from the inbound tourism, including transportation of passengers, exceeded $ 1 trillion in 2010 or about $3 billion a day.Tourism and accompanying services for export are about 30 % of commercial services’ world export and 6 % of total goods and services’ export. Tourism as an export category, is ranked 4th in the world after the export of fuel, chemicals and automotive products. For many developing countries it is a major source of foreign currency earnings and is ranked 1st among export gaining that creates many job placements and opportunities for further economic development.
