The methodology is based on field measurements and calculation methods for determining the hardness of rocks at a chrysotile asbestos deposit, which is being mined by an open pit. The physical properties are obtained by comparing a priori geological data with the values of electrical resistivity and the velocities of elastic waves in the rocks.
