The systems are one of the alternatif method in decreasing ammonia, nitrite and nitrate contents in tofu industry wastewater. The research was aimed to decide the optimum loading rate of the wastewater into zeolite system. The loading rate variety are: 160, 240, 320, 400 and 480 L m-2 day-1. Then also determined the efficiency of zeolite system to decrease ammonia, nitrite and nitrate contents in tofu industry wastewater by using the optimum loading rate. The result of the research showed that these three zeolite systems were able to decrease ammonia, nitrite and nitrate contents in tofu industry wastewater by optimum loading rate 320 L m-2 day-1. The efficiency of these three zeolite systems in decreasing the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate contents in tofu industry wastewater respectively were 74.96%, 70.36%, 65.57% for acid activated zeolite system, 84.26%, 72.36%, 76.36% for base activated zeolite system, and 75.50%, 70.35%, 71.71% for TiO2 impregnated zeolite system.
