Her PhD-project addresses citizenship education among school children in different socioeconomic contexts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.Amy Berkhout, BA is completing her Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University. She gained her undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol from the Historical Studies department and has three years’ professional experience delivering sustainability and citizenship based projects at primary and secondary schools in the United Kingdom for non-profit organizations.Evie Jetten, Bsc is a Master’s student in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Pedagogy and has worked with children during various internships at primary and secondary schools and in a pediatric department at a hospital.Lieke Kleinsmann, BSc is a Master’s student in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University.
