Description
Summary:The aim of this article is to propose a solution to the proverbial antonymy’s question. The proverbs are, usually, described as generic truths. This poses a problem when we want to explain the existence of a true saw and of his antonym. We base our study on an argumentative theory that permits to contradict the proverbial antonymy’s idea. The proverbs, and the language in general, cannot be described in terms of «true»/«false».
