This paper deals with the anticipatory of strategic change and it aims to outline the framework of leadership that needs to be employed in the changing scenario and provide an additional understanding of what modern leadership entails trends, skill set. Leaders are required to be aware, authentic, audacious, and adaptable and action oriented. These skills, also termed as literacies which should be in line with the trends in leadership where are all required of modern leaders, these trends of leadership and a developed set of skills discussed alongside with the illustrations of the ministry of health in Jordan as an example also will conclude a set of recommendations.
