Summary: | Nicole HROCH’s study examines patterns of thinking and acting around environmental management in companies. The study is based on metaphor analysis of interviews and textbooks. Through the use of one central and three partial studies, complemented by two case studies, the author develops valuable insights into the metaphorical structuring of entrepreneurial acting. Some beneficial methodological issues for further research can be derived from this study, especially within the topics of defining metaphors, sampling and criteria for quality of metaphor analysis.
