| Summary: | The purpose of the work is to determine the possibility of assessing the quality of cadastral data basing on the system of land and building registry. The study of discrepancies between the descriptive and graphical parts of the of the land and buildings registry was accepted as the scope of research in the field of marking plots and their areas, checking the level of: supplementing registry data with PESEL numbers for private entities and REGON numbers for public entities, completeness of addresses data, verification of documents defining the legal status of real estates and data on border points. The research objects were 14 precincts, including 11 rural ones in the commune of Dąbrowa Tarnowska and 3 in the urban commune of Dąbrowa Tarnowska, located in the Dąbrowski district in the Małopolskie voivodship.
