Description
Summary:An efficient iron(II)-catalyzed trifluoromethylation of vinylcyclopropanes was developed.A series of CF3-containing dihydronaphthalene derivatives were prepared with a moderate to high yield. This method offers several advantages in terms of its mild condition, readily available and cheap catalyst,as well as short reaction time.Furthermore, the reaction mechanism was investigated preliminarily.
