Summary:Release The knot has represented a significant symbol in Ancient Egyptian religious texts, where it appeared in pyramid texts as well as a symbol of life, power, flourishing and sovereignty. In addition, it is related to myths where it represented a symbol for the beginning of life in the doctrines of Creation. Ancient Egyptians believed that most illnesses do not originate from an apparent accident; however, they are caused by opposing power, it was necessary to use magic to treat them. The Knot also formed an amulet that the deceased wears for protection, security and conserving the corpse as well as a means of ornamentation, as well as granting and conserving beauty.
