Summary: | From a Benveniste's observation about the research of De Saussure in linguistics, I introduce a notion of paradoxical status in the semiotic structures; this thought is based on a same philosophical understanding of "contradictory principle" by Wunenburger who develop a discourse on "contradictory reason" in opposition to the identity and the contradiction concepts of the same paradigm. Therefore, this principle stay likewise in the notion of "semiotic squares" in the greimassian problematic. Furthermore, this notion of identity meet the same problem in mathematical topology as quasi-objects in the De Glas's research. Some examples are given (in the set theory of mathematics as holon, in Gestalttheory as ambiguous figure, in musicology as counterpoint) in which we can include our schema of templum. Finally, we have the definition of a complexity as architectonics schema similar to what we call in the greimassian school a "sémiotique tensive".
