Summary:The present study focuses on research's author strengths and opportunities about knowledge discovery concerning education history in the subject matter of Geography. Many discoveries have been made from redings and bibliography references. This research takes as its premisse the period range between the origem of the Geography as school subject, in the Europe in the 19th century, until the context of the decade of the 1980 in Brazil. The main purpose is to establish novel facts, solve new ideas with other researchers, who are interested in the theme from the reference topics. The authors considered are experts of the epistemology of geography and/or history of school subjects.
