In the context of the pandemic social security issues turned out to be decisive for the education system, the transformation of which caused significant difficulties. The article covers the topic of the security of digital education and focuses on theoretical concepts as well as on the analysis of practical cases found in the media. The author analyzes the experience of educational organizations and education management institutions in the area of protection against risks in the information environment, and identifies the most successful approaches.
