Summary:The occupancy of the Condanarous sand snake Psammophis condanarus in peninsular India and its distribution in West Bengal, adjacent to Bangladesh, indicate its possible existence in the country but confirmation was wanting till date. Here, we describe and record a specimen of Psammophis condanarus from Bangladesh formally for the first time elaborating on the morphometric details of the collected specimen.
