Summary: | The author proves that social and psychological factors influence on the mental and somatic disorders or diseases in
different ways, paying attention to the direct impact of social and psycho-logical factor; indirect impact and the influence through the «body variables» including adjustments, values and goals. Additional conditions of
influence comprise interactions in a family, the lack of social competence,
which can complicate, in particular, the course of depressions. The organic
and psychological defects and deficiencies, leading to the manifestation
and aggravation of mental and somatic disorders are noted. It is shown that
one can not underestimate the significance and complexity of the links and
variables that underlie the potential and actual mechanisms being the base
of the etiology of a particular disease. The causality of mental disorders is
proved to have complex character; the necessary point is solving the problem on a differentiated understanding of the specific causes. It is concluded
that psychological researches should be aimed at understanding the specifics of multicausality, namely, which psychological factors act in the same
plane, and others are in different planes. It is proved that the essence of
causation issues of a variety of organism’s disease states is to examine the
features of the complex interactions between pathogenic and protective internal and external factors.
