Summary:The quality of products and services offered by organizations today is no longer an alternative, but an obligation, where the consumer is more demanding; Therefore, the planned and systematized management of managers and the participation of staff must respond to the objectives set by the organization. Companies located in Manta and Montecristi are no exception. The objective of this article is to analyze the quality system used by the companies located in the cantons to know their impact with economic development. The methodology applied was bibliographic review, statistical methods were also used for the processing of surveys. The results obtained revealed that 86% of the companies surveyed make use of a quality management system in the development of their processes and the use of the tax system in a positive way in the growth of the business model and business development.
