Description
Summary:The current food question presents diametrically opposed dilemmas, such as the epidemics of hunger and overweight. Such dilemmas are embedded in a sociopolitical context in which big food conglomerates have sought to capture the concept of healthy food and changes in consumer behavior. This essay discusses the possibility of commercialization channels that are being re-signified, such as feiras livres, to present new trends in consumption that contribute to avoiding the full capture of the new consumer trend by large corporations.
