Summary:In the practice of sports training the use of traditional and nontraditional technical means has proven to be effective. The application of non-traditional means, such as the aqua-tow in swimming, allows to create regimes for performing exercises or basic elements, inaccessible in natural conditions. This fact creates the possibility of preventing errors and increases the probability of obtaining higher indices of the most important characteristics: rhythmic structure, the force-speed movements’ component, the programmed result etc. At the same time, the planning of the work program under such conditions requires an argument and the obtained results an analysis of the neuromuscular mechanism of the motor skills.
