The great Iranian philosopher, Sadrolmoto'allehin Shirazi, eminent 10 <br /> philosophy and wisdom, was also skilled in the interpretation of the Holy <br /> Quran, although from this aspect of his knowledge has not been thoroughly <br /> recognised. <br />This paper has examined his method in interpreting Quran and detected his <br /> vast knowledge in philosophy and mysticism, his acquaintance with the <br /> infallibles' traditions and his concern about theological and dogmatic issues. <br /> In this article his most important sources in his exegesis and his precise and <br /> thoughtful point of views reached by contemplating on quranic verses <br /> has been introduced. <br />
