Summary: | A solar water heater is a solar energy system that uses the sun to heat domestic hot
water. Just like a solar electric system, it uses panels to collect solar energy. To ensure the
transfer of the solar heat to the water storage tank the solar water heaters uses fluids, like water
or glycol, and a recirculation pump. Is very important to have a control of the temperature of the
fluid to maintain safety the entire system and ensure a proper transfer of the heat from the sun to
the useful water. In this paper is described an automatic controller that monitors the temperatures
into a solar water heater systems and controls the recirculation pumps. |
