Description
Summary:The article is about the «emptiness» [vacío] within argentinian culture during the late sixties in the sense of the absence or the resistance to the new attainments and the new 68’s avant-gardiste sensibility, which the two chosen journals for this work will try to fill in different ways. If the notion of emptiness means the “zero degree of writing” or its radical intransitivity, it was necessary to disseminate the deep sense of the new theoretical practices of the text and reading presented by the “french critical theory”, effectively transformed by Los Libros (1969-1976) and apparently ignored by El Cielo (1968-1969). In order to do that the text begins with a reading of the renowned review edited by some of the most influent intellectuals of the leftist cultures from the country until today and finishes with its extreme opposite, El Cielo, the secret review built up by two of the more cultivated writers of the present in Argentine.
