Based on the lighting load requirement, the number of solar panels and batteries required to generate and store the power is determined. To assess the performance of the lighting system, simulation is done and the photometric parameters are calculated from the observed values. In addition to the photometric parameters, the annual lighting energy required for illuminating the room is also estimated.
