Summary: | The agri-food market is distinguished by a high degree of dependence on external factors, such as climatic and weather conditions, uneven supply and demand for agricultural products due to the seasonality of production, which explains the dynamism and instability of this market segment. [1] Due to the indicated reasons, the process of current and strategic planning, analysis, determination of development prospects, is an integral part of agricultural production. The article studies the state of the agri-food market of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on the scale of the North Caucasian Federal District. The dynamics of the indicators of the produced crop and livestock products in the context of the regions of the NCFD are considered and analyzed, the comparative characteristics of the analyzed values are performed. The results of the analytical study made it possible to build a SWOT analysis model, which identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the agri-food market of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, as well as the opportunities and threats of its development.
