The application of social indicators arose as a real scientific “movement”, instrumental as well, determined by the increasing lack of satisfaction towards overrating of the role of economic aspects in the assessment of prosperity defining a given nation, in relation to ignoring the assessments made by the very human factor of this prosperity.
