The crystal structure of [{(3,5-CH3)2C6H3O}2PS2]3Bi (4) has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic P21/c space group and Bi(III) centre is surrounded by six sulfur atoms from three symmetrically chelating bidentate diphenyl dithiophosphate ligands in a distorted octahedron environment.
