Summary: | The objective of this work is, although not exhaustively, to promote the analysis of spatial scales relations, social capital and social networks in the process of elaboration and implementation of public policies for local territorial development. Such assertions relate directly to family agriculture and rural youth in this space. For the construction of this research, numerous interdisciplinary bibliographical references on the subjects were analyzed - this research has as methodology, the qualitative process with data collection. In this way, we observe that for territorial development, many issues must be taken into account in order to obtain positive and constructive results for the communities, as well as the careful consideration of public policies, social actors and their particular or survival groups in the areas analyzed.
