Interaction between Life and Works demonstrates that both are inseparable. However, the question arises, in case of Francisco Ayala as in so many others, which one should prevail: Life, considered something accidental, even ephemeral; or, on the contrary, Works, that become substantial because Works remain. Works are, inshort, what prevail at last.
