The views of 250 SMME owners/managers in the Nelson Mandela Bay region were obtained by means of a survey questionnaire. The findings indicate that respondents are becoming more aware of the impact of their actions on the natural environment and engage in actions to reduce electricity use, recycle paper and replace hazardous materials.
