The identification of<br />species was conducted in the Laboratorium of EcologyDepartment of Biology, Faculty of<br />Natural Science and Mathematics, University of Udayana from December 2013 toJanuary 2014.<br />A size of 1 x 1m quadrat squaretransect sampling method was employed in this research.<br />Identification of sea cucumbers was performed based on their morphology and shape of<br />spicules. GSIwas used to observed reproductionphase of sea cucumber.Two species of sea<br />cucumbers found ware Holothuria atra and Holothuria sp. Holothuria atra was found at<br />Mertasari beach, Sanur village, southern of Denpasar and Segara beach, Tuban, Kuta, Badung<br />while Holothuria sp. was faound atMengening beach. Segara beach showed the highest<br />densityof4.333 individual/m2,while Mertasari beach showed the lowest density 0.875<br />individual/m2.
