Summary: | This article examines the types of management of social housing areas from the temporal point of view. Two sorts of relationships to time in particular are described in order to analyze how they work together (or not) and how they are (or not) synchronized. Our aim is to show up the dissonances between the physical time involved in the relationship with the resident and the postponement that long-distance management induces. For the systems for managing the relation to the resident contribute to postponing the answer to requests by creating two separate temporalities, one implying the direct relationship with the resident, the other implying delays. That particularity creates temporal conflicts for the agency’s employees connected to that form of management as well as specific temporalities that come from their involvement in the field. |
