PENGARUH KUMULATIF ASAP ROKOK DAN STRES TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HORMON KORTISOL MENCIT

The aim of this study was to know the cumulative effect of cigarette smoke and stress to the Cortisol hormone increasing of mice. The Observe was done to 36 male mices BALB/C, that were separated into 4 groups which consist of 9 mices per group, that groups were control group, cigarette smoke group, electric foot shock group and combine of cigarette smoke and electicfoot shock stress group. After they were given repeating and increasing dose stressor during seven days, Cortisol hormone of mices were measured. The result of this study showed that combine of cigarette smoke and electric foot shock stress group had increasing of Cortisol hormone was higher as significant difference (p<0.05) than control groups, cigarette smoke groups and electric foot shock group. Conclusion showed the cumulative effect of cigarette smoke stressor and electric foot shock stress more increasing Cortisol hormone of mice.
