Description
Summary:Magnetic disturbances due to the traffic are tentatively modelled assuming that the sources are moving dipoles. The influencing section of the road ("useful" portion) should be modelled in 3D. The parameters of the model (time of closest position to the magnetometer, velocity, including its sign, dipole moment) are fairly accurately estimated. The fit is improved with the incorporation of a small induction effect.
