Avdvantages of using image segmentation algorithm based on VCF basis are discribed. Band pass spectrum restriction possibilities to highlight borders and edge the regions of similar density are given. Different forms of VCF spectrum restriction and its combinations with thier impact to image segmentation results are shown. Technical vision system application of sugested algorithm are shown. VCF basis abbility to highlight objects to be used in correlation-extreme navigation systems are shown.
