It would behoove universities to follow the example of some graduate schools in other inundated fields and limit the number of MLIS applicants they admit until the job market for librarians improves and, thus, eliminate the reality of new graduates competing with librarians who have 10 plus years of experience for entry-level positions.</p></div>http://palrap.org/ojs/index.php/palrap/article/view/14
