| Summary: | The article wants to present the main aspects about the roles in the reconstituted family, the frequency of which increases in our society, in which at least one member of the couple was married before. I refer to the status and the role of the stepmather and stepfather, to the difficulty of family adaptation which all the family members meet. A special attention must be payed to the brothers, to the alliances or conflicts among them. The paper refers to the social relations of this kind of family (with the origin family, ex-partners and the social network). It is important to know the characteristics of this vulnerable family, to understand its difficulties.
