Summary:Management education has a long history in Turkey, but it still has so many structural problems. Both scholars and practitioners complain about the inconsistencies with theoretical and practical sides of university education in management field. Lack of critical thinking and ethical values have become first hand problems of management education both globally and nationally. This study focuses on the evolution of management education and its historical problems in the light of global perspectives. Suggestions to solve intrinsic matters in university education for a better human resource quality and business life for Turkey have been made.
