Whereas a Pesantren is the oldest educational system in<br />Indonesia, whose existence has been proven by history and continues until<br />know. and it is the pioneer of education system that become the foundation<br />of education ideology in Indonesia. Therefore, it is need to hold in-depth<br />study on the management of the curriculum in Madrasah or pesantren.<br />This paper aims to review the curriculum management in Pondok Modern<br />Darussalam Gontor. Because this Pesantren is an educational institution<br />that is very well-known internasiaonally. This study found that Pondok<br />Modern Gontor implement integrative, comprehensive and independent<br />education system. Integrative means the integration of intra, extra and cocurricular<br />activities. So as to consistently integrate Three education center.<br />Comprehensive means cover all aspect and complete, sharpening all<br />potential (intellectuality, spirituality, mentality, as well as physicaly). and<br />independent because the curriculum is the result of its own formulation,<br />composed by education personnel who are experts in their fields, and the<br />whole composers is a teachers in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The<br />system of Gontor has become a phenomenon in the developomental of<br />education in Indonesia. this educational system could be compared with<br />Muhammadiyah and Taman Siswa.</p>https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/tadib/article/view/624Keywords: School Management, Curriculum, Education System. |
