2002 Aerial Surveys of Grey Seals in the Northeastern United States
In the past 20 years, grey seals have become established in coastal waters of the Northeastern United States. There are 3 sites where pupping and breeding occurs in January and February, 2 in Maine and 1 in Massachusetts. In 2002 we recorded a minimum of 1,040 pups born, primarily on Muskeget Island...
