Summary:This paper introduces the two e-learning platforms, namely ITeach and Moodle, which are adopted by the author since 1999 to aid teaching the undergraduate courses related to photogrammetry in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. The experience on e-learning aided teaching over more than ten years shows that e-learning is really a good assistant tool for improving learning and teaching effectiveness. The university provides very convenient and user-friendly assistant tools for the faculty of university so that teachers don't need to spend much time on learning how to use these e-learning systems, and can produce the corresponding e-learning course materials quickly. Therefore, the university professors are able to focus themselves on teaching and researching.
