Nevertheless,whatever the historical period and the geographical area, culture should be in complete harmonyand consistency with human rights and freedoms. It is outrageous to promote culture-basedmanifestations, inconsistent with human rights. It is inhumane to allow the practice under the socalledprotection of traditions and rituals of barbaric, cruel, ruthless practices, devoid of anyhuman foundation. Religion, as a part of culture, should not allow the practice of infamous habits,which humiliate and degrade the human being, causing intentional pain and physical suffering,extremely difficult to bear by the human being.
