We report the first case of a P. pnomenusa possible prosthetic valve endocarditis, according to the modified Duke criteria, in a 37-year old male injecting drug user suffering from recurrent endocarditis. Furthermore, we demonstrate biofilm formation by the P. pnomenusa isolates of this patient and investigate antibiotic resistance. Keywords: prosthetic valve endocarditis, central venous catheter, bacteremia, Pandoraea pnomenusa, biofilm formation, antibiotic resistancehttps://www.dovepress.com/possible-prosthetic-valve-endocarditis-by-pandoraea-pnomenusa-and-spec-peer-reviewed-article-IDRprosthetic valve endocarditiscentral venous catheterbacteremiapandoraea pnomenusabiofilm formationantibiotic resistance
