Juvenile justice: towards clinical intervention

This article reports on a study conducted in Santa Fe (Argentina). The work locates the object of study in its specific situation but linking it to the critical situation currently experienced by both the social and the legal cultures as well as the socio–penal and socio–judicial cultures in the Western world. Therefore, it identifies dislocations of various kinds between the judicial and cultural orders, which decisively affect the chances of consolidating autonomous and responsible subjects. On the contrary, such disarticulations are governed by judicial, sociocultural assumptions that hinder the development of such expressions of autonomy and responsibility. Intervention is decisive for this all, and therefore the present article leads to the formulation of a specific strategy of work called Clinic of the Intervention.
