This is a new concept in the 21st century, which is a revolution to the medical treatment and rehabilitation mode. Based on the clinical application study and expert experience in present ERAS in hepatectomy field at home and abroad, Chinese Expert Consensus on Enhanced Recovery After Hepatectomy (Version 2017) is established. The Chinese Expert consensus is the first guideline in the area of ERAS in hepatic surgery in China, which is drafted by the committee organized by Chinese Medical Association and China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care.
