The purpose of the article is to reveal the interaction of folklore intonations and stylistic tendencies in the modern Ukrainian pop song using the example of certain music groups. Research methodology. The study reviews the research papers and monographs, in which the features of national stylistics based on the folk intonations in the variety arts and song culture of Ukraine are singled out. Results. The folk-origin is introduced in various forms into stylistics, adopted from genres and styles of popular world music (jazz, rock, pop styles in many variants). It determines the special originality of the Ukrainian pop song development with the preservation of the aesthetic and communication constant — the reliance on the substantial intonations as well as on the Ukrainian speech. Along with the “classical” research in the area of the song genre, there are also developments that deal with the modern pop-mass forms. They contain the features of the national stylistics based on folklore intonations in the variety arts culture of Ukraine. This line of research is particularly relevant in connection with the methodology of the vocal variety arts performance developed at the corresponding departments and departments of music art institutions. Novelty. The article presents an attempt of the comprehended material in which folklore intonations are considered in the interaction with stylistic tendencies in the modern Ukrainian song field using the example of such groups as Vopli Vidoplyasova, Nokturnal Mortum and Dakha Brakha. Conclusion. The wide use of folklore authenticity — melodic, tuneful, rhythmic, timbre and vocal-performing (using folk instruments with electronics, folk singing in pop and song compositions) highlights the artistic merits of the pop song in Ukraine and nowadays it represents a complete creative phenomenon.http://ku-khsac.in.ua/article/view/136544 |

The relevance of the topic is determined by the interaction of folklore intonations and stylistic tendencies in the genre of the modern Ukrainian pop song, performed in the modified aesthetic and communication forms.
Conclusion. The wide use of folklore authenticity — melodic, tuneful, rhythmic, timbre and vocal-performing (using folk instruments with electronics, folk singing in pop and song compositions) highlights the artistic merits of the pop song in Ukraine and nowadays it represents a complete creative phenomenon. |
