Attempts to use coloured reactions of the EP reagent for taxonomic purposes in fungi of genus Lactarius
Species of fungi in genus Lactarius were tested for reaction with Stahl's EP —reagent. The reagent turned blue, green, yellow, violet or brown. This can be used for taxonomic purposes.
