Research is a descriptive study in the screening model. Participants of the research are 228 undergraduate and graduate students with membership in the Facebook social network. As data collection tools, "Social Network Sites Usage Scale" developed by Karal and Kokoç (2010) and "Personal Information Form" was used to determine the personal characteristics of the participants. According to the results of the research, it is seen that students use social networks more for educational purposes. While there was a significant difference in the subscale of the scale for recognition and recognition purposes, there was no difference in the other subscales according to sex. There was a significant difference in the subscale of the scale for educational use and social interaction and communication use subscale compared to the age variable, but no difference was found in the other subscale.
