Description
Summary:Today, many potential agricultural lands in the Miandorood region of Mazandaran, Iran, are under cultivation of strategic agricultural products, land use change in this region has become a major environmental problem. Therefore, the present strategic research analyzes the target area in two section (internal and external) and its output shows its effectiveness, which is one of the main components of environmental reactions. Therefore, 10-year information on land use change in the conventional conditions of Miandorood region of Mazandaran, Iran, and its effect on important components of soil and agricultural renewable waters has been collected from soil science research centers and also in a survey. And after collecting the necessary statistics and information in the target area of the research in the usual conditions, the strategic thinking process, Excel software and SPSS have been used for analysis. Analytical studies showed that the change of land use to other parts, firstly, has caused an increase in pH, electrical conductivity (EC) and soils erosion (Drift & mudflow) of agricultural lands. Secondly, such routine operations have drastically reduced soil organic carbon (SOC), renewable waters, and ultimately decrease the income of farmers in the study area (R2= 0.9666). Problems resulting from land use change in the conventional conditions of the study area were due to low effectiveness (29.76%) of farmers. In this case, from the three selected scenarios, scenario 3 has been selected for the Miandorood region of Mazandaran, Iran. Meanwhile, this research was welcomed by agricultural experts, promoters and farmers due to its excellent environmental usability.
