| Summary: | GIS spatial analysis in support of agroenergy development
A feasibility study for an agro-energy district in the Latium region has been carried out using GIS tools to evaluate suitable areas for the cultivation of new energy crops for biofuel. This paper briefly describes the results of the sunflower land suitability analysis. The methodology used is based on crop suitability factors, cultivation constraints and GIS processing.
The core processing is based on a multi-criteria analysis. The final result is a crop land suitability map. |
