Description
Summary:Anatolian myths are works having the quality of resource which are defined as the distinct indicators of the countries’ cultural heritage. In the scope of establishing intercultural communication, Anatolian myths, tales, stories, etc. which can be defined as a bridge reaching out from the past to future are being restructured while they are settled over and over, formed by being intertwined and transmitted from generation to generation. So and so, it is because there is some truth in them that the Anatolian myths have the quality of a historical document. Thus, it can be said that these myths are the components of the cultural history of a country. So much so that, it is an expressible fact that the people in the myths are shaped by the structural patterns of the countries they live. Within the context of this article, by considering the learning conditions of the individuals, the variability of the perception sensitivities of the Anatolian myths are being examined. The method is created by carrying out a workshop with a group of students consisting of design students with the aim of examining expression forms of Anatolian myths upon different individuals. In the workshop which the forms of interpreting and writing the same or different myths are observed, the differences in applications, signs and symbols are examined in the context of culture and symbol / in terms of design review. The causes of the differences in the perception and interpretation, interpretation forms of known and unknown myths and creativity process are reviewed in the scope of this article. As a result, the research is becomes clear as the meaning differences of learned signs and symbols on people reflect on the designs. As a result, it is clear that differences in learning and coding of information varies from people to people.
