Here, we deal with anthroposystems habitat and resources, at the oekoumen margins. In the fourth region of Chile (Coquimbo Region), mountain and aridity, techniques, sharing land history and the liberal economic model constitute an entity in which sustainable development implementation and perspectives raise many contradictions. These contradictions are lived by rural production actors and studied by researchers.
